2023.11.28 IACA Grant Reminder: SYEA Deadline is December 6, 2023
The deadline for the Illinois Arts Council Agency’s (IACA) Fiscal Year 2024 Summer Youth Employment in the Arts Grant is Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at 11:59pm.
Applications are submitted via the IACA’s online Salesforce system and no late applications will be accepted.
Summer Youth Employment in the Arts Grant Program
The IACA Summer Youth Employment in the Arts (SYEA) grant provides funds to eligible Illinois not-for-profit arts organizations to support summer employment opportunities for high school students. Jobs may be administrative or artistic in nature, or a combination of both. The intent is to provide positive experiences and training in the arts to enhance personal growth, while supporting the mission and goals of the host organization.
SYEA will award up to $4,500 to eligible applicants for student employees’ stipends. Grant requests for Fiscal Year 2024 are for employment opportunities occurring between May 15 and September 15, 2024.
To be eligible, applicants must have received an IACA General Operating Support, Grant to Arts Service Organizations, or Partners in Excellence Grant in Fiscal Years 2023 or 2024.
