Creative Accelerator Fund (CAF)

The Creative Accelerator Fund (CAF) provides holistic support to Illinois artists. A primary goal of the program is to bolster a creative workforce that composes a significant portion of Illinois’ creative and economic activity.

Folk Arts Mentorship Program (FAM)

Award Size: $3,000 awarded to the mentor

The Folk Arts Mentorship (FAM) Program is designed to support a mentoring relationship between an established traditional artist and apprentice that concludes with a free public presentation of achievements made by the apprentice during the apprenticeship period.

The ArtsTour Roster is a resource created in collaboration between the Illinois Presenters Network and the Illinois Arts Council.  This directory lists Illinois performing artists, companies, and ensembles that tour the state.The Artstour Roster is used by Illinois presenters to identify artists, companies and groups to perform in their communities. Artstour jurors evaluate artists based on the artistic and technical quality of their work; their professionalism; promotional materials, and references; demonstrated ability to tour; and the quality of the documentation submitted.

Capital Development Board Art-In-Architecture

The Art-in-Architecture Program of the Capital Development Board is pleased to announce a Request for Qualifications to Illinois professional artists for the purchase of permanent original art.

 

The College of Lake County Lakeshore Campus (CLC), is seeking to purchase artwork from multiple artists that celebrates the vibrant and diverse Waukegan community. CLC explicitly values diversity of individuals, cultures, thought, and expression—making students feel represented when they walk through its doors. 

Capital Development Board Art-In-Architecture

The Art-in-Architecture Program of the Capital Development Board is pleased to announce a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to Illinois professional artists to create permanent original public art for the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) Rail Splitter North/Southbound Safety Rest Areas in Sangamon County, Illinois. The spacious Rest Areas will welcome travelers by offering a beautiful landscape, innovative design, and a connection to Illinois history. 

Capital Development Board Art-In-Architecture

The Art-in-Architecture Program of the Capital Development Board is pleased to announce a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to Illinois professional artists to create permanent original public art for the William Rainey Harper College Canning Center in Palatine, Illinois. 

 

The Canning Center will house the Student Center, the Hospitality Facilities, and the University Center departments and programs. The Center’s design shall address the diverse culture of the student community and provide connecting links to adjacent buildings.

Arts Midwest - 2024 Midwest Award for Artists with Disabilities

Arts Midwest is now accepting applications for the 2024 Midwest Award for Artists with Disabilities, an award supporting accessibility in the arts and celebrating the work of disabled Midwestern visual artists.

Arts Midwest/ South Arts - Jazz Road Tours

Deadline: June 1, 2024

 

Jazz Road Tours offer grants of up to $15,000 to develop small, three- to six-site tours into communities across the country. This funding is available to professional jazz artists, working solo or working with a composer-led or collective jazz ensemble.
