The Forest Preserves of Cook County is seeking proposals from Cook County individuals and organizations to partner with the Conservation & Experiential Programming (CEP) Department to provide public programs that educate and activate the public to become lovers, users, stewards and advocates of and for the Forest Preserves of Cook County.

Cook County Arts Creative Placemaking Program is a $2 million effort providing grants of $50,000 to $250,000 for community-led projects that leverage the arts to enhance quality of life for residents and visitors. Nonprofit organizations located in and serving suburban communities will be the lead applicants for the Creative Placemaking program, and they are encouraged to work with a bevy of community stakeholders.
