General Operating Support (GOS) & Youth Employment in the Arts (YEA)

YEA Grant Range: Up to $4,500 per year for up to 4 Youth Employees.  
 

General Operating Support (GOS) Grants are available for Illinois non-profit organizations that provide ongoing arts programming.

Youth Employment in the Arts (YEA) Grants provide funds to GOS grantees for individuals between the ages of 14-22.

Creative Catalyst Grant (CCG)

Grant Range: TBD

Creative Catalyst Grants (CCG) are available to Illinois artists and non-profit organizations that have unique arts projects that need financial support. If an organizational applicant receives GOS support this programming must be outside of regular operational needs.

Regional Arts Partners (RAP)

Grant Range: Varies

The Regional Arts Partners (RAP) Program creates a partnership between the Illinois Arts Council (IAC) and IAC-designated organizations by providing funds to expand local mechanisms that encourage and support developing arts programs throughout the organization’s service area. Based on the assessment and perception of local needs, the RAP Program’s regranting funds make it possible for designated RAPs to develop grantmaking processes that are responsive to their service area.

Community Public Artworks Fund

The Community Public Artworks Fund supports the creation of public artworks.

 

IAC Initiatives for Communities

Local Arts Network

The Local Arts Network (LAN) is an initiative to build capacity and excellence amongst Local Arts Agencies so they can better serve their communities and to provide opportunities for validation and support. The LAN is open to leaders from Local Arts Agencies across Illinois.

ICJIA Restore, Reinvest, and Renew (R3) Grant

Deadline: April 30, 2024

The R3 grant provides assistance for programming in historically underserved Illinois communities using 25% of Cannabis Regulation and Trust Act tax revenues in grants to restore communities impacted by economic disinvestment, violence, and the severe and multilayered harm caused by the war on drugs.
