Cook County Arts Creative Placemaking Program is a $2 million effort providing grants of $50,000 to $250,000 for community-led projects that leverage the arts to enhance quality of life for residents and visitors. Nonprofit organizations located in and serving suburban communities will be the lead applicants for the Creative Placemaking program, and they are encouraged to work with a bevy of community stakeholders. With generous sponsorship from the Joyce Foundation, the 2025 Dance/USA Conference Host Committee is pleased to offer 15 scholarships to Chicagoland and Illinois dance artists and/or administrators to attend the conference. These scholarships cover the full cost of registration.
