2024.02.05 IAC Announces Capital Planning Grant Recipients

The Illinois Arts Council (IAC) is honored to announce the IAC 2024 Rebuild Illinois Capital Planning recipients. The goal of these grants is to help organizations get the objective information and analysis needed before they commit their organization’s energies and financial resources to a facilities project.

The IAC Rebuild Capital Planning grant had over 100 applications with $4,500,000 in requested support. IAC was able to provide 14 awards with the $500,000 available from the State of Illinois for this grant program.

The recipients have a broad range of artistic focus and serve 11 different cities across the state including urban, suburban, and rural communities.

Following are the Fiscal Year 2024 IAC Rebuild Capital Planning recipients listed in alphabetical order.

Definition Theatre, Chicago: $44,000.00

Edwardsville Arts Center, Edwardsville: $30,000.00

Fine Line Creative Arts Center, Saint Charles: $26,650.00

International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago, Chicago: $44,000.00

Princeton Theatre Group, Princeton: $16,900.00

Quincy Society of Fine Arts, Quincy: $50,000.00

Springfield Art Association of Edwards Place, Springfield: $24,000.00

The Nat'l Museum of Puerto Rican Arts/Culture, Chicago: $44,350.00

Urbana-Champaign Ind. Media Ctr, Urbana: $50,000.00

Vienna High School 13-3, Vienna: $50,000.00

Western Illinois Museum, Macomb: $21,500.00
