2023.03.03 - Reminder: IACA FY24 General Operating Support Deadline is March 15

For Communities – Friday, March 3, 2023

This is a reminder to organizations who have yet to submit an Illinois Arts Council FY24 application for General Operating Support (GOS), Grant to Arts Service Organizations (ASO) or Partners In Excellence (PIE). The deadline for submission is March 15, 2023, 11:59:59 PM.

FY23 Grantees

Organizations who received an FY23 GOS, ASO or PIE Grant will follow a streamlined process. Please refer to the email your organization received from our Director of Grants Management, Pius Zacharias, on February 15, 2023. That email contained detailed instructions on logging into Salesforce along with an access code for “Returning Applicants 2024”.   Applicants are asked to ensure “Applicant Information” is up to date, in good standing with GATA and have active Sam.gov and Secretary of State registrations.  Please be sure to hit the “Submit” button when complete.

New Applicants

New Applicants and all other applicants who did not receive an FY23 GOS, ASO or PIE grant must contact IAC Program Staff to request a copy of the FY24 GOS/ASO/PIE Guidelines as well as an access code to begin a new FY24 application in Salesforce. New applicants are encouraged to watch the FY24 GOS Webinar PowerPoint Recording to help walk you through the process.

Additional Resources

General information about using Salesforce can be found on the landing page: How to use Salesforce. You may also reference a Recorded Webinar on using Salesforce for additional help. Follow these links for general information on IACA Eligibility Requirements and GATA, respectively. To contact a Program Director for discipline-specific assistance, please visit IACA’s Staff Listing.

As the flagship granting opportunity of the agency, the General Operating Support Grant receives over 800 applications a year from throughout the state. A simplified FY24 granting process will allow the IACA to properly evaluate this and all its granting programs so that we may continue to strengthen and meet the needs of the cultural ecosystem in the state of Illinois.

Thank you for your patience during this time of transition and planning. Together, we will build a stronger creative and connected Illinois through the arts.

The IACA acknowledges ongoing support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
