Inspired by a previous mural that once graced the park, the artwork celebrates community, recreation, and the many activities that bring residents together. Featuring interactive elements that encourage visitors to engage with the design, the mural also commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States and the enduring spirit of the American story. The Waukegan Park District Board of Commissioners will officially unveil the mural at 10:00am on September 22.",
