The America's 250 Mural will be temporarily located on the north side of The Eagle Theater, 319 N Plum St. The mural was designed to honor Pontiac's role in the broader story of America's 250th by highlighting connection, courage, and cultivation through a public art mural. The mural is a collaborative effort led by Joe and Ben Diaz of Diaz Sign Art, a family-run business renowned for its blend of traditional and modern sign-making techniques. The mural, painted in the "Walldog" style by local artists from the Greater Livingston County Arts Council, pays homage to the dynamic spirit of the community and its historical contributions. Following the mural dedication, attendees are invited to the Eagle Theater for a 6:00 PM screening of "Route 66: The Main Street of America," a new documentary by director John Paget. This film, which showcases the iconic highway's history and influence, will be followed by a Q&A session with Paget and some of the locals featured in the documentary.",
