Status of Grants as of July 2026
- Creative Project Grants (CPG) opened on July 1, 2026. As of July 15, CPG Grant funds have been fully expended in the Chicago Metro Region. Applications that have already been submitted are in the process of being reviewed in the order of submission. Notifications will be sent as reviews are completed. Funds are still available in the Northern, Eastern, Central, Western, and Southern regions.
- FY26 funds are fully expended. FY26 final reports will be due September 30, 2026.
- FY27 General Operating Support, Youth Employment in the Arts, and Creative Learning Grants for Schools are all under review. Award determinations will be sent in August 2026 pending IAC’s budget allocation for fiscal year 2027.
- FY27 Creative Project Grant applications will be accepted beginning on July 1, 2026. This is an open deadline program with funds administered regionally.
