Artist / Program Description: 
AfriCaribe is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation, research, promotion, and development of Puerto Rican and Caribbean cultures through music, dance, theater, and other artistic media. Formed in 2000 by Evaristo “Tito” Rodriguez to fill the need for more Afro-Caribbean cultural programs, the ensemble features nine drummers, singers, and dancers. Part of our mission is to offer presentations, educational programs, and residencies at schools, as well as cultural programs for community organizations, lecture/demonstrations, workshops, Bombazo, and performances. The ensemble has toured the Midwest and throughout the USA.
