Kidworks Touring Theatre Co.

Brian McConkey
Artist / Program Description:

Since 1987, Kidworks Touring Theatre has reached over one million children throughout Illinois. We travel to schools, libraries, park districts, and community centers, offering a variety of multicultural and environmental touring performances, “hands-on” dancing, drumming and drama workshops, and long-term Artist-in-Residency programs, for PreK-12th graders. All of our programs include study guides, an abundance of audience participation, and a positive approach toward learning. For 33 years, Kidworks has “opened the doors between education and imagination…bringing literature, geography, history and science to life.” We encourage positive self-esteem, build team-work skills, promote multicultural tolerance, and create a love and respect for nature.

All programs can comply with your organizations COVID-19 safety regulations, plus we can limit the audience size and offer several rotating programs throughout the day.
