Artistic Statement:

Pros Arts Studio is pro-art... and pro-community. Since 1978, we have brought artists and communities together through programs in the visual, performing, and media arts for all ages and all levels in schools, libraries, theaters, parks, and community centers. We are "pros" at using the arts in the classroom to reinforce reading and other curricular areas, unlocking the creative abilities of children and teachers. We are a multilingual company (Spanish, Italian, English, and Clown!) and use our years of ensemble experience to work as a team with school educators. Pros Arts residencies build on the strengths of the existing curriculum, address the school’s creative and cultural needs, offer innovative approaches for students with special needs, and develop the potential for ongoing creative expression.
