Chicago-Area Arts Needs Study Released

Charting New Paths through Innovative Collaboration

As the cultural sector in Chicago grows, evolves, and adapts to changes in the broader environment around it, Chicago-area Arts Service Organizations have been coming together to discuss the needs of the organizations they serve and opportunities to collaborate to serve their constituents even better.

Led by the Arts & Business Council of Chicago, in partnership with the Illinois Arts Council, and research partner Slover Linett Strategies, this study grew out of those conversations and moved beyond the identification of the basic challenges and calls for change that have become familiar to us all, and toward actionable initiatives that strive to offer real solutions to shared needs.
