The Illinois Arts Council Foundation serves the Illinois
Arts Council constituency by augmenting limited state funds for the purpose
of outreach and communication initiatives within the arts community and the
general public.
History
The Illinois Arts Council Foundation was established in
1967. The Foundation's mission is accomplished through the capacity to receive
and disperse private donations not authorized for use by a state agency.
Contributions
Contributions to the Illinois Arts Council Foundation are
used to increase awareness of Illinois Arts Council programs and services through
publications, public forums, promotional activities and events.
